This is not a fact-checking post, this is a post about a common human sentiment from the part of our planet we call South Asia which includes Afghanistan, India and Pakistan (as opposed to the popular belief that Pakistan is in the middle-east, it is not).
This post is also not about cars today, but tomorrow, it can be. They could become relevant to this post.
How? Imagine South Asia to learn from the mistakes Europe, the British and the world. Just imagine for this one shining moment that we learned from their mistakes and chose to not do them as humans. We stop fighting. It would not even sound naive when I lay the opinion of giving Kashmir to the Kashmiris and getting the hell out of there because it sounds hypocritical of us when not long ago, we earned our independence from the British.
Though Azad Kashmir is a country in its own from Pakistan’s accord, (them having Pres., PM, legislative assembly, etc etc) but due to the need of Pakistan’s Military, its a state within the country.
This post is however not about the divided Kashmir on either sides.
This post is just about thinking out loud, we have a lot of mutual friends and enjoy OK relations. The US and our relations go back to the 50s when U2 aircrafts used to fly from Peshawar, so such long relations would see some highs and lows but with India, its border skirmishes, war, border skirmishes, bollywood, bollywood, Pakistani dramas, cricket, border skirmishes, and I WILL NOT TALK TO YOU! HMMMMPPPPHHHH!
Both the governments and politicians feed upon the enemy rhetoric but I grew up with Indians. My childhood buddies were Indians other than quite a lot more I met while growing up. Running an automotive website with similar socioeconomic conditions, we’re often found talking with each other and helping out.
And yet, someone died when a shell dropped out of nowhere over the border.
Jupiter is Earth’s bodyguard in a way, its gravity throws meteors away from Earth. Improved relations amongst everyone sharing border can provide a economic field of gravity that can improve the economic livelihood of everyone from Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and even Iran through just sheer strength.
Think about it? Instead of making it easier, we’ve made it harder, more complex to find harmony.

So this post is about me, about all of us, driving straight in to India or Pakistan and not even know that we’ve crossed borders. I always wanted to go grocery shopping over in another country.

You need to get a country to just fight wars for you.

Nope.
The fact that Pakistan was set up as a reservation for Indian Muslims thus perpetuating sectarian conflict isn’t going to help either.

Istan is a persian word which means ‘Place of’, while Pak means ‘pure’, and thus, Pakistan translates literally to ‘Land of the pure’, which is highly ambiguous.
But going next weekend to a trip, will bring good from it.
